SUBVERSION IN THE
OLD ROYAL BATHS

In their present state, I see the baths as representing the breakdown of that perfectible world that is digital media.

At the time of my site visit, the presence of the archaeological team inspired me to perform my own archiving process.

The website becomes an archive of the fragments and my response to the archaeological process. In the building a 16mm film loop is projected back into the space where the activities took place, gradually deteriorating over the period of the installation.
