Suky Best's images are the edited versions of tiny films. Suky is a meticulous collector of quiet moments - she captures and stretches out small passages of time as she watches the details of life in the countryside. Created by manipulating video footage and outputting as inkjet prints, the images trace a series of journeys across Dartmoor from the footsteps of a rambler to the movement of traffic in the lanes.

Aune Head Arts is an innovative artist run project based near the centre of Dartmoor. It organises projects exploring the unique social and physical ecology of the Dartmoor environment, often presenting projects in atypical venues, from Visitor Centres to local pubs. Suky Best's image-sequences will be presented in a series of locations in the area.
