Audio Installation
by composer Rob Godman

Rob Godman has collected sound samples of rural Gloucestershire, from local dialects and church bells to agricultural machinery. Made into an interactive audio installation they become the core elements of a complex sound landscape that seems to shift and change in its proportions and momentum as the audience moves around in it.

Prema Arts Centre is situated on the edge of the Cotswolds. It is one of the leading centres in the south west for innovative contemporary art installation and performance. Rob Godman worked largely around four townships in the vicinity of Stroud and Prema Arts Centre.

Exhibited November - December 2000 at Prema Arts Centre
