Cross Country Rural Commissions Suky Best with Aune Head Arts |

Five artists' projects are taking place in rural areas of five counties in the south west of England. They have been developed by DA2 in partnership with key locally based organisations. Through these commissions the artists have taken a new look at countryside location. In their works the physical and social landscape is not necessarily as familiar, or as obvious, as often represented. The five artists have used digital technology to re-imagine and re-explore the spaces they have found. Their projects demonstrate new ways to present creative work, which in turn can offer us unfamiliar routes into familiar territory. Supported by:
