The DA2 CLICK FORWARD programme
Exploring Film On-line

The DA2 Click Forward programme is a series of commissions and seminars. These explore the possibilities for artists using with digital film on-line. DA2 is interested in the creative possibilities of the internet as a medium for a film experience - and in asking what that experience might be.

The CLICK FORWARD programme has been asking these key questions:

- Does the internet offer a new creative language for making moving images?

- Does the internet have the potential to create a unique visual aesthetic and if so, what is this work shaping up to be?

- How are technical considerations affecting the possibilities for production and delivery to an audience?

The following are works commissioned as demonstration models for a new language of online film. The projects were presented at Video Positive 2000 ( www.fact.co.uk ) in Liverpool, UK, February 2000.
